“Mekong River Brightness Journey” Program Launched

To coordinate the initiative of “The Belt and Road”, deepen the LanCang-Mekong cooperation mechanism, and strengthen traditional friendship with the ASEAN people, China Charity Alliance and China Public Diplomacy Association, jointing Overseas Chinese Charity Foundation of China, China Foundation for Disabled Persons, The Universal Health Foundation (Beijing) for Poverty Relief, AIER Ophthalmology Hospital Group, and Xiamen Eye Center of Xiamen University, co-sponsored the project of "Mekong Brightness Journey" in March 2016.

 

In October and November, 2016, the domestic medical teams successfully operated for nearly 600 Cataract patients with free, which gained wide praise at home and abroad, and achieved the desired results.

The Ophthalmologist was performing preoperative examinations for patients
