To collect responses from the charity sector and to provide advice and strategy to the government is one of our essential responsibilities.

We participate in legislation progress of charity sector. For the drafting process of the Charity Law and the Overseas NGO Management Law of the People’s Republic of China, CCA organized a dozen of seminars and collected suggestions from interested parties. A series of memorandums of the suggestions and discussions were submitted to the National People’s Congress, and had great influences on the drafting of the laws. 

Promoting the progress of legislation

We also participate in policymaking. CCA collected suggestions from its members and other interested parties, based on which memorandums were generated for the drafting of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Regulations for the Management of Foundations, the Regulations for Registration and Management of Social Associations, the Regulations for Registration and Management of Social Service Organizations, and other multiple policies of promoting China’s charity sector development.
