On 16th -17th August 2014, weheld the very first China Charity Forum with a theme of‘Opening an new Era of Charity’. The forum lasted for two days and was combined by a main theme forum, four parallel sub-forums, a city charity index releasing party and a field visiting project, all of which helped to build a communication platform with charity values between domestic and international philanthropic sectors, and promoted interaction and cooperation amongst main philanthropic organizations. The forum is not only the first large-scale international charity event we held, but also is the milestone in the development of philanthropy in China. There are a total of 1400 people including relevant government leaders, international guests and representatives from domestic philanthropic sector, attended the activities of the forum.
