CCA held the 1st Cross-Straits, Hong Kong and Macao Philanthropy Forum in Shenzhen, September 23rd, 2013. Over 100 representatives of government departments and charitable organizations from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan attended the forum, sharing their experience and discussing on essential topics.

Mr. Niu Gensheng, Vice President of CCA, Founder and Honorary President of Lao Niu Foundation, gave a keynote speech on 1st Cross-Straits, Hong Kong, and Macao Philanthropy Forum

The Cross-Straits, Hong Kong and Macao Philanthropy Forum(2015) was held in Taipei by CCA, Macao Foundation, Loving Family Foundation, and China Association of Confucius on May 31st, 2015. Topics of the forum included Chinese charity culture, disaster relief cooperation, business innovation, community construction, etc. Over 200 scholars, experts, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taipei attended the forum. The attendants also visited charitable organizations and communities of culture innovation, healthcare, disaster relief, social enterprise, community elderly services, etc. in Taiwan.

CCA joined hands with Hong Kong University School of Social Science, Macao Foundation, Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation, Taiwan NPO Self-Regulation Alliance, and Loving Family Foundation to hold the Cross-Straits, Hong Kong and Macao Philanthropy Forum (2016) on July 5th to 6th, 2016. The theme of this year’s forum is “Sharing Successes, Responsibilities, and Creativities”. Heated topics such as development of Chinese traditional charity culture, cross-straits cooperation mechanisms of disaster relief, and management of family charity were discussed on the forum.
